CEO and President Ann Fox Honored As One Of Hart Energy’s 25 Most Impactful Veterans In Energy

HOUSTON, TEXAS (Dec. 16, 2019) – Nine Energy Service, Inc. ("Nine" or the "Company") (NYSE: NINE) announced today that its CEO and President, Ann Fox, has been selected by Hart Energy as one of the 25 Most Impactful Veterans in Energy for 2019.

Hart Energy’s Inaugural 25 Most Impactful Veterans in Energy program honors the oil and gas industry’s veterans and their continued service in civilian life. The program was capped by a luncheon ceremony on December 5th.

“I’m humbled and honored to be recognized with such a prestigious award,” said Ann Fox, CEO and President, Nine Energy Service. “I’m proud of the focus Nine places on supporting our military veterans and continuing to welcome them with a career and benefits for the civilian life, after their service is complete.”

Fox serves as Nine Energy Service’s CEO and President, where she has led the company since 2015. Prior to this role she was Nine’s Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Strategic Development. Fox served in the United States Marine Corps from 2001 through 2008.

During her service, she worked with a small team embedded in the South of Iraq in order to ensure Iraqi Security Force combat operations were consistent with the application of U.S. counterinsurgency tactics and worked directly with General Petraeus.

Fox holds a Bachelor of Science in Diplomacy and Security in World Affairs from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School and is currently a member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Board, Devon Energy Board and Groton School Board.
